Disc Dog

Flashes of color, the heavy scent of dog breath thick in the air. You’ve reached it: Disc Dog. Believe it or not, dog-frisbee competitions have been going on since the 70s, and it’s now a world-recognized sport!

Frisbees offer different challenges than with balls because they can twist or even reverse direction in the air. The goal is to see how far you can throw the frisbee to your dog to see how fast he can run to catch it. Pretty simple, right?
Dog discs have really improved over the years. Do you remember, back in the day, when you’d play frisbee with your dog and the toy was shredded in a matter of days? Well, we’re not claiming that dog discs can stand in place of a chew toy, but some of the new plastics used are the best in technology today!

New bite-resistant discs are made specifically for you and your dog to enjoy for weeks to come!

In disc dog (commonly called Frisbee dog) competitions, dogs and their human flying disc throwers compete in events such as distance catching and somewhat choreographed freestyle catching. The sport celebrates the bond between handler and dog, by allowing them to work together.
