SCHOOLING YOUR DISC PURCHASES
On the flip side, a professional disc, though slightly more expensive, will last much longer and encourage kids to exercise. It’s a win-win.
But how do you know what kind of disc to purchase for your school? Luckily, we have created a list of discs to help you find out what is right for you.

UltraStar: The Discraft UltraStar is the go-to disc for professional and everyday users alike. It comes in a wide variety of colors, and some are made from recyclable plastics. While most UltraStar discs are excellent choices for most people, you’ll want to stick with the Web and Westland molds for beginners. This disc is perfect for ultimate frisbee fanatics.
Pulsar: The Innova Pulsar, unlike many other discs, is just as comfortable when you’re playing ultimate frisbee as when you play freestyle. This disc is relatively light at 175g and doesn’t cause a cramp when you catch it. The Pulsar is often associated with ultimate frisbee and freestyle, but it works just as well on the disc golf course.
Eurodisc: The Eurodisc Ultimate Standard disc is perfect for every sport, and it is highly customisable. You can put your school logo on a crate of 100 or put the team mascot on the top and watch it fly.
RPM Tui: The RPM Tui is a home-grown brand named after the Tui bird in New Zealand and is incredibly popular in many school systems. The Tui comes in many colours and is of medium weight and stiffness, which means it won’t pack a punch when you throw it to teammates. The Tui is a go-to for many disc players because it is so versatile, perfect for newbies and old hats alike.
