Tell us the space and the group size. You get one number back - baskets, discs, signage and freight - within one business day.
How it works
Tell us the space
School oval, park, paddock or a corner of the grounds. Send a photo or a rough size and we will tell you how many baskets fit and roughly where they go.
We quote it
Baskets, poles, bases, tee signs and freight as one number, back within one business day. Purchase orders accepted and invoicing on terms.
It ships and it sets up
A RAD Birdie Lite goes together in under ten minutes with no tools, so one teacher can set the course up and pack it away again. Permanent baskets come with the spec for the ground work.
Questions we get asked
How many baskets does a school need?
You do not have to start with a full course - three baskets is enough to run a class. Nine is a standard short course and eighteen is a full one, and plenty of sites add over time. Tell us the space and we will lay it out for you.
How hard is it to set up?
The Birdie Lite and the Roadie go together in under ten minutes with no tools, which is exactly why they suit schools - one person can set the course up before class and pack it away after. The EAGLE and the Ace V2 are a different job: they need a base or a pole set in the ground, and we send the spec with the order.
How many discs come with the school pack?
It starts at 30 discs - ten sets of three. Each set is a driver, a midrange and a putter. Need more? Tell us the group size and we will price it.
What does the pack actually cost, all in?
The price shown is the baskets and bags. Discs are quoted on top, because the number you need depends on your group size - a school running one class at a time needs far fewer than a club. Ask for a quote and you will get one number with freight included, not a surprise at the end.
Do you accept purchase orders and invoice schools?
Yes. We accept purchase orders and invoice on terms. Send through a PO or ask for a quote and we will turn it around within one business day.
Portable or permanent baskets for a school?
Portable if the oval is shared with other sports or the baskets get packed away. Permanent if they are going in the ground and staying. The RAD EAGLE does both, which is why schools that start portable and grow tend to land on it.
How long does a school order take?
Baskets and bags are held here in Werribee South and ship as soon as the order is confirmed. Discs are ordered in from the manufacturers in Europe or the United States and usually land in 1 to 3 weeks, so tell us your date and we will work back from it.
Is disc golf safe for school kids?
Discs are light, there is no bat and no ball coming at head height. Tell us the year levels and we will suggest disc weights to suit - lighter discs are easier for smaller hands to throw and catch.
Can you help design the course?
Yes. Chris does course design and installs. Send a photo of the space and he will tell you what fits, what the ground work looks like and what it costs.
