The Griffon, also known as the XPT3 or Grampus, is a very understable midrange from XCOM, a maker focused on easy-to-throw discs. It turns easily on smooth throws and fades very little, so it gets out to a good distance on an easy throw, and it is useful for rollers and turnover lines. It is an affordable way to add a midrange to any bag.
About Basic plastic: XCOM's entry-level plastic. It is grippy and keeps the price down, and it wears in with use.
