The Wombat3 is the V-Tech version of the Wombat, with a big bead around the bottom of the rim for extra torque resistance. It carries a lot of glide: thrown flat it holds a long, straight line, and released on anhyzer it holds that angle with a small fade at the end. A good choice for straight shots and shaped approaches.
About DX plastic: DX is Innova's base plastic: affordable and grippy in all weather. It wears in with use, starting a little more overstable and gradually becoming easier to turn over.
