Innova DX Mini Marker Disc
DX is Innova’s original plastic and the most affordable blend they make. It has a grip that comes up quickly as the disc wears in, which is part of why it has stayed in the range for decades. This mini is a scaled-down Aero, about 23 grams and just under 10 cm across.
This is the standard marker — the one most players have in a pocket. Drop it behind your disc to mark your lie. One is required in PDGA-sanctioned events, and at this size it is legal for exactly that.
DX is softer than Champion or Star, so a mini thrown at a basket every round will scuff and soften over time. That softness is what gives it the grip, and at this price most players keep a DX for marking and reach for a Star or a Mini Driver when they want to throw one.
It is not PDGA approved as a golf disc.
