The Cobra is a beginner-friendly stable midrange golf disc. It has a relatively narrow rim that helps provide great control for backhand throws. When thrown with a little speed, the Innova DX Cobra Disc will see a high-speed turn followed by a significant amount of low-speed fade. The Cobra isn’t the straightest flying midrange disc on the market, but it will usually go where you want it to. The Innova Cobra is available in the inexpensive DX plastic. This is a great disc for beginners.
About DX plastic - discs are affordably priced and provide an excellent grip in all types of weather conditions. Over time, DX discs will take on new and varied flight characteristics that stem from their use. They start out more overstable, but with use will match the flight ratings. With continued use, they'll eventually become more understable than the ratings.
