The Zone is a slim putter with a thick rim that gives you something to hold on to. It's overstable, so it's good for headwinds, strategic fades, forehand throws and flick putts, and many players keep one in the bag for the shots where a forehand or sidearm is the only option.
About Putter Line Soft plastic: Putter Line is a grippier, more durable update on Discraft's older Pro-D plastic, and the Soft version is more flexible for players who like a softer putter. It feels consistent in warm and cool weather.
