The Archer is a very understable fairway driver. It turns over easily, which makes it a good disc for hyzer-flips, long turnovers and rollers, and thrown flat at an easy pace it gives a straight flight without needing much power. The shallow rim and small bead suit smaller hands. The Archer was the 2016 Ace Race disc.
About ESP plastic: ESP is Discraft's premium opaque plastic. It's grippy and durable, often comes with colour swirls, and breaks in slowly, so the flight stays consistent for a long time.
