The MD3 is a stable midrange that flies straight for most of its flight before a slight fade at the end. It has an average-depth rim that feels natural in the hand on both backhand and forehand, and it is reliable and useful across a wide range of shots. As it slowly beats in, it will flip up to flat and glide a long way.
