What is Disc Golf?

Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world.  It is playerd with similar rules to traditionial golf, except players throw a flying disc (Frisbee) from a designated tee to an elevated metal chain basket to complete each hole in the least number of throws.

Disc Golf is easy to learn for players of all ages and abilities, yet it is infinitely challenging.  It is popular around the world because kids, adults, families, and friends can all enjoy this inexpensive activity together.

Disc golf shares some of the same joys and frustrations of traditional golf (also called "ball golf" by disc golfers), whether it's sinking a long putt or hitting a tree halfway down the fairway. Unlike traditional golf, disc golf is quite inexpensive to play.  Once you have your own Frisbee, many disc golf courses are free to play.  Disc golf rarely requires a greens fee, you probably won't need to rent a cart, and you never get stuck with a bad "tee time." It is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages, male and female, regardless of economic status.
